Use Nexra in Teams with Copilot Studio
Give leaders "Ask company data" in Microsoft Teams through a Copilot Studio agent, with each person signed in as themselves.

What you get
Leaders ask questions about the business in a Teams chat, such as "How much did we collect last week?" or "Who's in today?", and get the same cited, read-only answers as in Nexra Agent. Each person signs in to Nexra as themselves, so they only ever see what their read access group allows. Every question is in your read access log with origin mcp.
No code is needed. You need:
A Copilot Studio licence, and permission to publish agents to Teams in your Microsoft 365 tenant.
A Nexra read access group with the people who should ask.
An admin who can manage MCP in Nexra, for step 1.
1. Publish the tools in Nexra
In Nexra, open Dashboard → MCP and choose the application the agent belongs to.
On the server you'll use, add company_ask and leadership_summary to a new version and Publish it. New servers already have them.
Copy the MCP endpoint: https://api.nexra.amakoragroup.com/mcp.
2. Add Nexra to a Copilot Studio agent
In Copilot Studio, open your agent (or create one, for example "Company data"), go to Tools and select Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.
Enter a Server name (Nexra), a Server description ("Answers questions about our company's own data, read only, with sources") and the Server URL from step 1.
For Authentication, choose OAuth 2.0 and then Dynamic discovery. Copilot Studio finds Nexra's sign-in from the server and registers itself.
Select Create, then Create a new connection and Add to agent.
If your organisation needs a manual set-up instead, choose Manual. Register a client with POST /oauth/register, sending client_name, the callback URL Copilot Studio shows you in redirect_uris, and "token_endpoint_auth_method": "client_secret_post". Enter the client_id and client_secret it returns, and:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Authorization URL | https://api.nexra.amakoragroup.com/oauth/authorize |
| Token URL | https://api.nexra.amakoragroup.com/oauth/token |
| Refresh URL | https://api.nexra.amakoragroup.com/oauth/token |
| Scopes | company:read |
Don't use API key: Nexra refuses API keys and service credentials for company data, because what a person can read depends on who they are.
3. Sign in as yourself
The first time someone asks, the agent shows a sign-in card. They sign in to Nexra and approve Ask company data for themselves. People in a read access group can approve this even if they can't manage MCP; the grant covers the two company tools only. Their access appears on the application's MCP credentials page, where an admin can revoke it.
4. Publish to Teams
In Copilot Studio, publish the agent and add the Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot channel, then make it available to the people in your read access group. Your Microsoft 365 admin may need to approve it.
Good to know
Answers are read only. The agent can't create, change, send or pay anything through Nexra.
Each person can ask 10 questions in 10 minutes, counted across Nexra Agent, Teams and the API.
Someone outside every read access group gets a plain refusal, and the attempt is logged.
The Leadership summary gives counts by team, never names.
Copilot Studio uses Power Platform connectors for MCP, so your organisation's data policies apply to it.
