Validation status

Implemented · fixture tested.

Implementation is checked against provider-shaped fixtures for every action, authentication failures, rate limits, pagination and duplicate safety. Provider sandbox and authorised account validation are recorded separately when credential-backed runs are completed.

Authentication

Access token

Plans and access

Private apps for your own account; public apps require SurveyMonkey review. Some endpoints (responses) need a paid plan. Access tokens carry the scopes chosen for the app. Accounts in the EU or Canada data centres must use that region's origin.

Test environment

Draft private apps work against the developer's own account.

Rate limits

120 requests per minute and from 500 requests per day per app by default (resets at midnight GMT); HTTP 429 with backoff.

Pagination

page and per_page; Nexra follows links.next.

Provider events

SurveyMonkey webhooks (response_completed, response_updated and other events). Nexra event triggers are not yet available; flows run on demand or on a schedule.

Before you build a flow

  • Deleting surveys, pages, questions, collectors, responses, contacts and contact lists is intentionally not implemented.
  • Creating collectors and sending collector messages (email invitations) is not implemented because it broadcasts to audiences; collectors are read-only.
  • Webhook creation and changes are not implemented; webhooks are read-only.
  • Contact search is not exposed because the search text (often an email address) would travel in the URL query string.
  • Survey, contact and contact list creation have no documented idempotency key; uncertain creates are not repeated automatically.
  • The default daily quota (500 requests) is low; schedule large response syncs with start_modified_at and request a quota increase if needed.
  • Response answers are returned as choice, row and column IDs plus text; resolve labels with surveys.get.

Developer reference

  1. Create the SurveyMonkey credentials described above with the narrowest permissions your flows need.
  2. In Nexra, open Connect, then Connections, then New connection, choose SurveyMonkey, enter its settings and credentials, and tick only the write actions you need. Connection guide
  3. Test the connection, then use its actions as flow sources and destinations. Flow guide
