Validation status

Implemented · fixture tested.

Implementation is checked against provider-shaped fixtures for every action, authentication failures, rate limits, pagination and duplicate safety. Provider sandbox and authorised account validation are recorded separately when credential-backed runs are completed.

Authentication

Public API token (bearer)

Plans and access

Public API access is available to Team and Business workspaces; Protocols (tracking plans) and the audit trail need Business tier. Public API tokens are created by workspace owners and carry the token's role permissions.

Test environment

A free or trial workspace can be used for read testing.

Rate limits

Per-token, per-endpoint limits (for example 200 requests per minute for tracking plan rules); HTTP 429 with rate limit headers.

Pagination

pagination.count and pagination.cursor; data.pagination.next gives the next cursor.

Provider events

Segment audit trail forwarding and destinations, not configured through this API. Nexra event triggers are not yet available; flows run on demand or on a schedule.

Before you build a flow

  • Sending tracking calls (identify, track, page) uses the Tracking API on api.segment.io with source write keys in Basic auth, a different host and credential; it is not available on this connection.
  • Write keys and destination or function setting values are never returned, because they can contain secrets; only their names or counts are mapped.
  • Creating, deleting or reconfiguring sources, destinations, warehouses and functions (settings) is not implemented.
  • Tracking plan rules can be added or updated but not replaced wholesale or deleted.
  • Label creation has no idempotency key; uncertain writes are not repeated automatically.

Developer reference

  1. Create the Twilio credentials described above with the narrowest permissions your flows need.
  2. In Nexra, open Connect, then Connections, then New connection, choose Segment, enter its settings and credentials, and tick only the write actions you need. Connection guide
  3. Test the connection, then use its actions as flow sources and destinations. Flow guide
