Validation status
Implemented · fixture tested.
Implementation is checked against provider-shaped fixtures for every action, authentication failures, rate limits, pagination and duplicate safety. Provider sandbox and authorised account validation are recorded separately when credential-backed runs are completed.

Authentication
PandaDoc API key
Plans and access
API access requires an Enterprise plan or a developer sandbox key. Sandbox keys work only with sandbox documents and have low rate limits.
Test environment
Generate a sandbox API key in the Developer Dashboard.
Rate limits
Per-endpoint limits per minute in production (for example document creation and sending are lower than reads); sandbox keys are limited to 10 requests per minute. HTTP 429.
Provider events
PandaDoc webhooks for document state, recipient and content events (HMAC signed). Nexra event triggers are not yet available; flows run on demand or on a schedule.
Before you build a flow
- OAuth 2.0 connections are not implemented; use an API key.
- Document creation is asynchronous: new documents start in document.uploaded; poll Get document status until document.draft before sending.
- Creating documents from uploaded PDFs, document downloads, deletes, status overrides and recipient edits are not implemented.
- Document creation and sending have no idempotency key; uncertain writes are not repeated automatically.
