Authentication

Account ID and API application key

Plans and access

All Cin7 Core plans, including trials, can create API applications. Each API application key has full access to the account it belongs to; limits apply per application.

Test environment

Use a Cin7 Core trial account.

Rate limits

60 calls per minute per API application; HTTP 429 when exceeded.

Pagination

Page and Limit (1-1000) with Total on list endpoints.

Provider events

Webhooks for sales, purchases, stock and product events. Nexra event triggers are not yet available; flows run on demand or on a schedule.

Before you build a flow

Updates use PUT; Cin7 Core treats omitted fields as unchanged for scalar fields, but supplied address and contact lists are merged by ID.
Sale order creation accepts only DRAFT or AUTHORISED; fulfilment (pick, pack, ship), invoicing, payments, credit notes and voids are not automated.
Purchase order lines use /purchase/order, documented for simple purchases; advanced purchase stock receiving, invoices and payments are not automated.
Stock adjustment and transfer creation accepts DRAFT, COMPLETED (and IN TRANSIT for transfers); voids and deletes are not automated.
The Cin7 Core documentation is published on Apiary; the human-readable portal requires JavaScript, so contracts were verified from its API Blueprint.
Cin7 Core has no idempotency key; uncertain creates are not repeated, except products and customers whose SKU and name are unique.

Create the Cin7 credentials described above with the narrowest permissions your flows need.
